This innovation effectively reduces the pressure on the spring during locking and minimizes reel inertia vibration, eliminating issues like lock failure and decreased spring tension, which can hinder the retrieval process. Unlocking and Retracting the Hose To retract the hose, give it a short, sharp pull (approximately 2-4 inches). You will feel the hose automatically retract. You can interrupt this process by pulling the hose again.
Dealing with Tangles Inside the Reel Extend the hose to its full length and then allow it to retract smoothly as you walk it back to the reel housing. This will enable the self-layering mechanism to correctly layer the hose into the reel.
Preventing Leaks at the Interface The reel is supplied with two seals that can be replaced, and a Teflon tape that can be wrapped at the interface to prevent leakage.
